Inspiration via Hill....my analysis and snippets based on Hill's book

Action steps and their progression as suggested by Hill's book Think and Grow Rich

Thoughts are things- writing piece by Thomas A. Edison

Desire-the starting point of achievement "Whatever the mind of man can conceive and believe it can achieve"

Faith- There are no limitations to the mind except those we acknowledge, visualization....it is good to believe

Autosuggestion, self imposed stimuli, visualization, believing and acting as if you have the thing you desire-to convince oneself that the thing you desire you already have

Specialized Knowledge "Every adversity, every failure and every heartache carries with it the seed of an equivalent or greater benefit....general and specific knowledge.  It does not pay to have knowledge.  Specialized knowledge is more abundant and more easily acquired than ideas.

Imagination-synthetic imagination and creative imagination, exercise imagination.  Imagination is the workshop wherein fashioned all plans created by man.  Hill says we should exercise our imagination and transmuting ideas into cash.

Organized planning- the crystallization of desire into action- leadership and masterminds groups, quality service

Reasons people fail: Unfavorable hereditary background, lack of a well-defined purpose in life, lack of ambition to aim above mediocrity, insufficient education, lack of self-discipline, ill health, unfavorable environmental influences during childhood, procrastination, lack of persistence, negative personality, lack of controlled sexual urge, uncontrolled desire for "something for nothing", lack of a well defined power of decision, one or more of the first six fears, wrong selection of a mate in marriage, over-caution, wrong selection of associates in business, superstition and prejudice, wrong selection of vocation, lack of concentration of effort, the habit of indiscriminate spending, lack of enthusiasm, intolerance, intemperance, inability to cooperate with others, possession of power that was not acquired through self-effort, intentional dishonesty, egotism and vanity, guessing instead of thinking, lack of capital

Know your worth, take inventory of yourself, find opportunities

Decision-The mastery of procrastination

Persistence- the sustained effort necessary to induce faith
